About NightHawk
NightHawk is a growing franchise about modern perspectives of heroism, vigilantism, survival, and evolution. The main character, Jake Hammel, adopts the name and becomes a masked vigilante on a mission of justice against a society of villains who are protecting an unimaginable secret using violence, theft, destruction, and scientific experimentation. NightHawk, intent on defeating his enemies at their own games before incarcerating them, initially works as a lone wolf, but his first accomplishment leads to the uprising of his allies and a dangerous army of rivals. For NightHawk and his league of warriors, crime fighting is only the beginning.
The characters in the franchise assemble for exhilarating missions in which stakes grow higher over time. Each character is designed to represent personality traits and abilities that a human shares with another animal species inhabiting Earth. They face common conflicts between one another and more dangerous conflicts elsewhere. Threats grow from natural to supernatural, causing worlds to collide. The fate of our world ultimately lies in the hands of the bravest.
The multimedia franchise will be illustrated to emphasize revolutionary concepts in the modern superhero genre. As currently planned, the stories will be passed on through presentations, novels, comics, screenplays, and videos. As a future series, NightHawk will embody all of what the modern action/adventure subject stands for. To the fans and workers of Marvel, DC, and other famous universes in the genre, prepare for something new.
The Creator : Michael J. Kelly
Background
Michael J. Kelly graduated from Roger Williams University in 2020, earning his master's degree in architecture. His hobbies are in the fields of visual arts, such as film and digital design. He first came up with the character of NightHawk in 2012, soon after the release of the final film in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, which was an iconic inspiration for Michael's ideas. He was also inspired by many other classic action/adventure films, TV series, and books. Michael intends on being an original and inventive creator who makes influential history in the modern superhero genre. He is currently in the process of writing many stories, developing characters, making independent filmography, and creating conceptual artwork for the franchise. He is searching for creative people to join his design team.

The identity of the original NightHawk,
young and bold vigilante Jake Hammel, represents Michael Kelly himself. He developed Jake's complex personality based on the many influences of his own past experiences, dreams, and inspirations. Throughout the stories, Jake struggles with his own morals and values, similarly to how Michael had struggled with deciding who he truly wanted to be in life during early adulthood. Other characters are inspired by his friends, family, and existing fictional characters that he strongly worships. Inspired by several great leaders and working hard to become one himself, Michael aims to achieve the impossible while expressing his obstacles through relatable characters' stories in this electrifying universe.
