The Franchise
Founded in 2012
NightHawk is a growing franchise about modern heroism, vigilantism, survival, rivalry, redemption, and evolution. The formidable but heroic lead character adopts the symbolic alias as a masked vigilante who seeks justice against a criminal society that protects an unimaginable conspiracy. Mysterious reasons are behind acts of violence, theft, destruction, and unlawful experimentation. NightHawk, determined to solve intricate crimes and foil his enemies' deadly plans before incarcerating them, initially works as a lone wolf. However, his first success leads to his amassing of new allies, but also spawns a lethal army of rivals and adversaries. For NightHawk and his assembled league, crime fighting is only the beginning. Not only do they face villains who constantly break laws of man, but eventually ones who are able to bend laws of science.
Designed to represent personality traits and abilities that humans share with other animal species inhabiting Earth, the characters face conflicts between one another and dangerous situations throughout the stories. They struggle to accept their differences, identify their true enemies, and create alliances for top-secret missions in which stakes become higher over time. As the threats grow from ordinary to extraordinary and beyond, the hope of mankind's existence ultimately lies in the hands of the strongest, fastest, smartest, and bravest warriors among them.
This multimedia franchise is illustrated to powerfully demonstrate revolutionary concepts for the modern superhero genre. The stories will be told adaptively through presentations, novels, comics, films, games, and more. NightHawk is the beginning of a new era in the action/adventure subject with a major focus on realism and relatability. Its founder, Michael Kelly, intends to prove it.
The Founder : Michael J. Kelly (1996)

Michael J. Kelly, an architectural designer by day and an independent artist/writer/filmmaker by night, came up with "The Night Hawk" in 2012 for his personal nickname in content creation and martial arts. He has experience in karate, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Idolizing Batman, he is most inspired by The Dark Knight trilogy and the Arkham games. With additional inspiration from many other classic action/adventure films, TV series, games and literature, Michael created the main character based on his own life experiences. He is a resourceful, practical superhero who symbolizes bravery, observation, and perseverance. Working nightly on concept art and stories for the franchise, Michael welcomes creative people to collaborate as a design/narrative team that could bring this grand project to life.
